maui iao valley beach engagement

island hopped to an island over for the most gorgeous maui iao valley beach engagements session with m + c. i grew up with m and we were friends from the time we were little. when she reached out saying they were coming to maui and wanted photos done, we planned the most amazing maui iao valley beach engagements session ever.

it was a super rainy day up until we got to iao valley. we walked all around, found some gorgeous spots and talked story together. the sunshine came out and it was the most perfect location to capture their love. iao valley has so many perfect locations for a session. we had the gorgeous peaks, the stream below, and so much green. it was my first time shooting here and i pray it wont be my last.

we then headed over to the beach where we played in the water until the sun went down. the beach was empty and we had the sunset and the waves all to ourselves. there is always something so special about water sessions for me. they are not only a blast, but it is so amazing to capture the beauty of love and hawaii all in one. maui defiantly showed off for us and i went on home to oahu covered in sand with a camera full of memories.
